Remember my Hope Valley Piney Woods patchwork quilt? Well, when pondering on what to give my dad for Christmas, I figured maybe some matching pillows? He is very fond of napping on his couch, so now he has a good comfy pillow to rest his head while cuddling under his quilt.
Well, I think they look great, although they can't even compare what he gave me - a Bosch kitchen appliance! Best dad ever.
While I used most leftovers from the quilt, I did have to buy backing for the pillows, and more binding (I only had enough for one pillow). I still love that binding, and luckily the LQS had some still. I even used leftover thread from the quilt. Another gift - done!
