Washi Patchwork Pillow

I just love this Washi fabric, but when it arrived I thought, what am I going to do with it?  Then I had my sister's birthday coming up and the colors were totally her.  So I whipped up another patchwork pillow, this time with smaller squares - 3" before sewing.

Metallic thread! A sweet hot pink solid binding!  Gorgeous polka dots for the backing!

All I have to say is YUMMY!  I seriously want to eat this pillow.  Or maybe snuggle with it.

I even managed to sneak one of my snazzy labels on it.

For the quilting, I did diagonal lines on every intersection (I usually do every other), inspired by Red Pepper Quilts.  I thought it might be too busy with so many lines, but it turned out fabulous.

To see some of my other great patchwork pillows, see here and here and here.

Sigh, I really have to get a tutorial up for these.
